"Malawians possess the talent, ability and desire to make this a great country and I am glad Mzuzu International Academy gets to contribute to the minds that will build a better Malawi.
Growing up I had made three promises to myself, one of those promises being that no matter where life took me I would always give back to my community and do my best to develop the community that raised me, as my parents did before me. Mzuzu International Academy is part of the fulfilment of that promise. The vision behind establishing this school was not just academic excellence, but also to nurture the potential that could be found in my local community. I would like the Academy to be a place that gives our children the tools they need to achieve great things for themselves, and for this country. Beyond that, I am grateful to Maloto which enables me to extend this dream to those who are less privileged so that they are also able to attend MIA on scholarship every year.
Personally, it makes me proud to see Pilot Instructors, Doctors, Engineers and Artists who are making a difference that happen to be Mzuzu International Academy alumni.
